Yes, in most cases. IxirPro cans are gun-grade with a standard threaded valve, so they screw onto most standard spray foam applicator guns sold in the U.S. They are not straw cans and are not meant to be used without a gun.

If your current gun is clogged or sticky, it is often cheaper to replace it than to fight it. The IxirPro gun has a Teflon-coated non-stick barrel that is easier to clean, and it fits every IxirPro can.

Foam that cures inside the gun is what ruins it, so the rule is simple: the gun should never sit empty and open.

• Between cans, swap quickly so air doesn't get into the gun.
• For short breaks, leave the can attached and close the flow knob.
• When you finish a project, screw on a can of IxirPro gun cleaner and spray until the cleaner runs clear.
• Wipe uncured foam off the tip right away. Once it hardens, only a blade or a replacement nozzle will remove it.

Spare red precision nozzles and replacement tubes are sold separately, so a worn tip doesn't mean buying a new gun.
