DIY Spray Foam Kit FAQ
Yes —
Chem2Go's closed-cell foam seals air leaks that account for up to 40% of home energy loss. Most customers report noticeably lower heating and cooling costs within their first season after application.
None at all. The kit includes a professional spray gun, gun cleaner, and two application nozzles — everything you need is in the box. Shake, attach, spray. Most first-timers finish their project in under an hour.
Each 30oz can covers ~23 sq ft at standard depth. Measure your target area, divide by 23, add 15–20% buffer. The 12-pack (276 sq ft) handles most rim joist runs or mid-size garage walls.
No. Chem2Go uses a closed-cell formula that cures into a rigid, durable structure. It won't shrink, sag, or lose adhesion on wood, metal, masonry, or drywall — even in temperature extremes.
The foam becomes tack-free in just 5–10 minutes. Full cure takes 24 hours, after which it can be trimmed, sanded, or painted over.

I was surprised by how much area this 30oz can covered. It says 26 sq.ft and it really delivers. Much better value than buying multiple smaller cans for my attic project.

The foam works exactly as described and expands well. Just a warning to wear the gloves provided because this stuff sticks to everything! Great bonding power though.

It is ok, a little tough at first spraying overhead. But after a while you get the hang of it.
